wow, i just listened to the podcast and i wish it was longer, that was awesome! (i could listen to PPC talk all day long…) thank you so much for the insights and i love the intro line at the top of kwgrouper.com! lol … i can’t wait to test it out!
i agree with a lot of john’s statements as well…i have a question though. you discuss uploading the 30k keywords for the client, making sure they’re converting according to real/estimated CRs, and then pausing keywords that have low CTRs…i can only imagine the amount of time you’re actually managing the campaigns. are you the only one managing the bids, or do you at some point hand it over to an account manager, or back to the client? just more of a mgmt type inquiry…

I have to people that help out with reporting, and so on. I still take on most of the responsibility with identifying and removing or updating poorly performing keywords and ads. But I don’t really do it all by hand.
