Hi—-Andrew:

Thanks for this post, and for your insight into the mindset of success. So to recap:

1.) set goals
2.) set BIG goals
3.) execute
4.) fail, learn, and move on

My blogs are doing well, not as well as others, i’m about 64% happy with them and their progress. My income from blogging is increasing, as well. But it could be MUCH better.

I would say my biggest obstacles are organization, and prioritizing. But i’m working on it, and am learning loads. Internet marketing and Blogging are really fun and interesting fields. I love it.

Thanxs for your reply and solid tips. I appreciate you taking the time to dedicate this post to my email query.

I think you hit on something — for me anyway — with the “stress”, or lack of it. Since affiliate marketing and blogging started as a hobby of mine, and I still have a day job, the income it generates is a bonus, it’s not what I need to live on. Do I want more? Of course I do. Would I like to make enough to quit my day job and work anyway? Yes! But I don’t need the money to put food on my table, so it always seems to take a back seat to life’s other commitments. There is no pressure, or stress, to produce more and thus, earn more.

Great tips, Andrew. I’ve found myself more productive when I write out a specific goal, then lay out the STEPS needed to get there.

Then I plan my day by listing the things I need to get done that day, which contribute to my larger goals.

I’ve noticed that when I DON’T do this, I end up wandering around the Internet aimlessly.
