I jumped from one truck to another within weeks. One week, I am working on google adwords, then going back to adsense or product creation and then just go back and forth. For websites, I guess most people will spend a lot of time in writing articles. I myself spend about 2 hours for an article since I am not a English native speaker, and after some time without any real results, then you get lazy. There is just so much to consider, it seems. Your blade of grass analogy is very apt; I too see that over at WF forum (where I post as 'Jael'). In fact, I've suffered the same swaying motions as Angelo, just reading through the various forum entries. Focus and simplify. That first ten or hundred dollars can look like Mt Everest otherwise. I've also found that tracking the progress of other 'beginners' and understanding their business models can help. One that I've been following fairly closely is www.mydebtfreegoal.com. I don't have any business or personal relationship with this person, but I do appreciate that she's willing to post her channels and earnings for all to see and learn.
