This post makes alot of sense. I mean it’s just basic courtesy and common sense not to just enter a forum and start selling. It just feels wrong.

Well that’s precisely because those noobs bring along with them zero experience in forum management/interaction. I’m also a moderator in another forum and the moment I see spam, it gives me the kicks to delete them straight.

If you want to promote something, do it first to help your fellow IMS members, then if you do make some affiliate income as a bonus, all the power to you.
