Even though all businesses, whether online or offline, can somewhat run on 'autopilot' after the systems have been set up, it's not realistic to expect a business to run automatically AND make you huge amounts of money without putting any effort. There are actually infomercials selling the internet in a box idea. Buy the product and make thousands selling our cheap junk. Actually, it is a very typical attitude of many that do not run a business of their own. The common idea of someone that is self-employed is that they do not work hard, work only a few hours, and they have tons of money. Running your own business (internet or otherwise) is really the opposite. At least when starting out.
