WBloggar currently appears to have a major flaw.

When you post on a blog that uses the new blogger, it will not take the contents of the title field and put them into the tiltle of the post.

Has anyone found a way to fix this in the custom setup?

I guess anyone keen on doing offline post creation will likely download 2-3 desktop blogging clients and select their favourite.

As long as it serves it’s purpose, it’s good enough isn’t it?

Likely if you’re one to use flashy graphics/video or other forms or content, you might need something which is being constantly updated.

If you’re posting mostly keyword-rich content, the basics will suffice.

It’s a killer app in that affiliate marketers have tested it and are using it as a tool in their income generation efforts. (which is my metric for usefulness, rather than sophistication of technology).

Ecto (http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/) might have a higher whiz bang factor, though over at ProBlogger (http://www.problogger.net/archives/2005/06/21/making-the-most-of-ecto) there’s a mention that the Mac version supercedes the Windows version.

Think you made a mistake in the hyperlink. The correct URL should be http://wbloggar.com/ …… although http://www.secretblogweapon.com/ would be a more suitable URL for this wonderful tool.

hey andrew,

yep w.blogger is a great tool..use it before..altho not to its full potential.

i dun think you need to cut and paste with it…it can be configure to direct link to ur blog without even login into ur blog online.

u can even save your post for a latter time and post it directly to ur blog. just write them using w.blogger and press the post button it will instantly post on the real blog online. I believe you just need to fill in ur admin login details for that.

this sure is a useful tool to have especially with all this 404 page showing and where bandwith matters..lol

i can say “w.bloggar” rules in windows platform where “ecto” (darren rowse use this if not mistaken) rules in mac

w.bloggar used to be good, but has not been updated since March last year.

The Windows Live Writer is pretty useful too, and does support Wordpress blogs as well.
