I am feeling the same way as Alfred Collingway must have felt. I cancelled my subscription but they still charged my Credit Card. I have raised a support ticket and let us see what is their response.

If I had suspected them of being snake oil salesman, now I am pretty sure that they are SNAKE OIL SALESMAN. I had created a support ticket asking them to cancel my membership for the $97 Inner Membership Circle as mentioned in the T&C. They replied back saying that I can manage my subscription at a particular page. When I go to that page, Surprise, Surprise!! It says that "Manage Subscription Options will be available soon!!".

So in short, there is no mechanism to unsubscribe and we're stuck with a $97 per month fees. I am going to give them another week before having my credit card company give me a new credit card.

have been following your blogs for a long time and I am sad to see that you're supporting such people.

Hi Yas,
The answer is yes.

I've found that the course covers a couple of different aspect - ppc traffic generation, affiliate marketing and business management - specifically how to scale an already successful business.

I got the most out of the business scaling element from amit, especially in building a team, project management and maximizing your returns from outsourcing.

I believe for a newer affiliate, the affiliate marketing sections will be useful.

Hey Brad,

I've a biased opinion here, having promoted Anik's Affiliate Classroom previously and working together with Amit on a coaching program last year.

You will get great info for $6.97. I estimate their production cost + shipping is at least in the $50-70 range.

They will make back their lead generation cost, by a number of students continuing on at $97/mth.
-
If for whatever reason, you don't want to go into the continuity prog, you can cancel and your exposure is just $6.97 (or $9.97 for international orders).

-
You can probably get a lot of quality info from other forums, blogs, etc, though you'd have to figured out the amount of time needed to sift out the valid info from some of the less reliable info circulating out there.

-
Besides PPC Classroom, I like Jeremy Palmer's Black Ink Project, which is also a solid program.

Hey Andrew! Thanks for posting this info. I met you at Affiliate Summit (ie Melissa Salas LOL) and I just started watching the videos from the sessions I didn't sit in on. Since I'm new to affiliate marketing and PPC, I'm trying to decipher what programs might be good for me to start out with. I was wondering what you think of this program, and are there any other programs you'd recommend?

Hey Leo,
This is an example of a big launch which is pretty common among internet marketing products.

It still is free, you just need to look at your efforts and results you're getting.

At the end of the day, no course, ebook, seminar is going to guarantee you success - only your own efforts and actions will.

$15k or whatever target is achievable, it takes time+effort. Even if you are working with a small budget, you just need to keep working at it and the results will come.

Hi Andrew,

I saw this a day or so ago and knew there had to be a catch...sure enough, within hours, my email was lighting up with titles like "don't get PPC 2.0 until you read this" and "order free through me and get a special bonus"...so much for free, right?

Anyway, the problem with using other people's success stories for PPC is it really does depend on the amount of leverage you have (money in your pocket) that will dictate your success.

So, someone comes in with a small bankroll hoping for that $15k a month payout and they realize very quickly that a small ad budget also means smaller returns.

Awesome information Andrew. There are plenty of new affiliates out there that are looking for a resource to help them monetize their PPC campaigns. Learning this process can be frustrating and getting any sort of assistance from marketers making profit isn’t easy. This is a great tool, looking forward to your new coaching program!

Hi Alfred,
Sorry to hear you feel that way.

Having been an affiliate for Anik's "Affiliate Classroom" system, being Amit's partner in delivering another PPC coaching program, and having owned PPC Classroom 1 and 2, I have to disagree with your opinion.

For new and experienced PPC affiliates, their course contains tips to help you get started. More importantly, Amit has also included techniques that he uses to manage and scale his own business, which I haven't seen in other PPC training courses out there (I have just about every one of them).

-
There's no "catch" to cancelling. Drop them an email if you're not happy and want to discontinue the continuity.

I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill and going as far as to call someone a "snake oil salesman" is stepping over the line in my opinion.

I have subscribed to PPC Classroom and I have to say that Amit and Anik are the modern equivalent of snake oil salesman. I have not seen a harder sell by even the local used car salesman. They have put up so many amazing stories with so many numbers that your mind will be in a daze. If this is their way of marketing, god help any one who is going to learn marketing from them.

As for their actual course, it is basic at best. If Amit is making good money, do you think he is going to teach the real tricks to any one and every one. Stop and think.

Also there is a big catch of having to pay $97 after the first month. They say that it is easy to cancel within the first 30 days. It is hardly the truth. After logging in, I had to search the site for more than 10 minutes before I could find the support link where I have to create a ticket to cancel it. In case you are also looking for it, the Support link is at the very bottom of the site in size 2 lettering.
