Wordpress Ronan released

This has been an interesting week for WordPress.

In addition to announcing the release of WordPress MU (multi user) 1.0 (the software/platform that hosts numerous blogs at Wordpress.com) and bbPress (the tag-based forum software), they’ve just announced the launch of WordPress 2.0.5 earlier today.

This latest incarnation contains about 50 bug fixes.

I guess lots of people (myself included) take brand names, trademarks and intellectual property for granted at times.

We’re so used to ‘using’ a brandname as a verb or a noun, that we don’t realize that technically, we’re eligible to legal action if someone chooses that course of action. (more…)
